Caring For Your Laptop.

It has taken a while to finally put together a debut article that I am satisfied to publish on the blog for Extraordinary Gentlemen. I figured that a good place to start was an area I am very comfortable with, and one that I readily thought of was IT. Now for many of us who own laptops, it may represent our single biggest asset not only in the initial cash we parted with in order to acquire it, but also the potential it holds to turn income for us in the future, and extra money that it will cost us to get it back up if it should fail.
In view of this I want to write you a short guide to keeping your laptop computer so that it can last you a reasonable amount of time. Some of them may seem “common sense” but that is exactly the reason why you should be told about it because the tendency is that that might be the very thing you will overlook.
• Never put your laptop in a bag while it is still on. this is primarily done because we tend to underestimate the heat coming out of the vent of our laptops but such a mistake may cost you your motherboard.
• Never use someone else’s charger on your laptop: Yes even if it is by the same manufacturer (unless you are absolutely sure that the output voltage of that charger is the same for yours) other than that you will damage your battery permanently and it might go on to affect your laptop.
• Never put an object on top of your laptop.
• When the laptop is open do not place objects on top of it, you might accidentally close it and damage you screen.
• Never open or adjust the laptop by holding the screen and letting the weight of the lower part do the hard work.
• You may have heard to clean your laptop with a damp cloth, in your own interest, get one of the specialized cleaning kit for laptops, cleaning with water is costly.
• Never put your food or water and other drinks, beverages etc on the same table with your laptop computer, most especially when you do not already have money for its replacement.
I hope you enjoyed these short tips. Next time, I will be treating you to some useful programs that will make you computing experience richer.
